Rebecca Davidson is a prolific fine artist from Boston, Massachusetts. She currently works in ceramics at the Feet of Clay Studios in Brookline, where she is a member. Her portfolio also includes extensive work in painting, printmaking and drawing as well as installation art and short films.
In addition to being a practitioner she is also a teacher. Her educational work includes special projects for the Boston Public Art Commission, Canton Audubon Visual Art Museum, and the I.C.A. Boston. She has been a lecturer at The University of Massachusetts and Mt. Ida College, and has worked in primary school education for the city of Lynn, and for libraries and community centers throughout Boston.
Her education includes a Master of Fine Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She has been the recipient of many awards including the prestigious Charles Adams Memorial Prize. Her drawings are in the collection of the Caroll and Family Drawing Files, and selected sculptures can be seen at the Antiquariat Gallery of RI.
